Minority Government : A government formed by a political party whose representatives did not win more seats in a legislature than all the other political.

Political Party : An organized group of people who share ideas about governing. Political parties compete with others for the support of voters during elections. The goal of a party is to win enough seats to gain control of the legislature and form the government.

Referendum : A special vote to find out what voters want to do about an issue.
