Library Trip Project

The Toronto Public Library is the largest public library system in Canada, with 99 branches and 11 million items to borrow or use in the library.
The library is an important place in the community. People go to the library to read books and magazines, use a computer, and to study. Many libraries have a special section for laptop computers.

1. Draw a rough sketch of the floor plan of library
2. Library Card Application
3. Choose a book related to the class that you are in. Take this book out and bring it to next class.
4. Identify several activities offered at the library
5. Find a biography and properly source the book. Introduce the book. Explain the basic story, setting, and background of the person in the biography.

An example would be
"Martin Luther King, Jr." Contemporary Authors. Biography Resource Center. RHS Library, Norridge, IL .
